The annual Don Wright Motors Lawn Bowling Tournament was held on May 29 at the Midland and District Lawn Bowling Club.

The team of Wayne Morrison, Sheila Buckland and Jackie Fraser was the big winners on this day with three wins. Finishing in second place with two wins was the team of Carol Finlayson, Peter Page and Ken Greaves, edging out her husband’s team of Bruce Finlayson, Betty Davis and Nel DeBruyn.

The last game high went to the team of Calvin Munroe, Margaret Staude and Allen Dickey. On hand to present the Don Wright Motors Trophy to the winning team was Glen Gourlie.

Drawmasters for this tournament were Gladys Lawson and Fred Israel.
