About 24 representatives from Collingwood's sister city Katano, Japan will be visit the municipality this summer.
Collingwood CAO Gordon Norris said the group will be arriving on June 24 and will be staying for three days.
Mayor Chris Carrier and Deputy Mayor Sandra Cooper visited the Japanese city last year to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the sister city agreement.
In connection with the visit, director of leisure services Peter Dunbar, said the Friendship Gardens will be renovated in a Japanese theme.
