Director of leisure services Peter Dunbar and Counc. Mike Edwards are hopeful the off-leash dog park will be up and running this summer.

The park will be located behind a new pumping station currently under construction on Popular Side Road.

Dunbar said they are still working on a structure for the park, but said in order to use the park your dog will have to have a municipal dog licence.
