A Stayner woman pleaded guilty April 22 to charges of public mischief by falsely reporting a theft, stealing a credit card, and then fraudulently using the card.
Amber Clement, 33, entered the plea Tuesday.
Provincial Crown Enno Meijers advised that in November 2007, Clement was implicated in the case of a stolen Canadian Tire credit card that had been taken from the victim's locker room.
She then racked up more than $800 in purchases made at the Ultramar gas station in Stayner and in various Collingwood stores.
When investigated and confronted by Huronia West officers, the defendant falsely claimed a theft of her own card.
Clement will revisit Collingwood court on June 3, to allow time for preparation of a pre-sentence report, to effect a bail variation - and for sentencing on that date.
