The 2008 Hike for Hospice Palliative Care is quickly approaching.

The annual event will this year take place Sunday, May 4, starting at 6:30 p.m.

Participants can register as an individual or as team with co-workers or friends.

Registration can be done online or at the Hospice Simcoe office.

Anyone wishing to make a donation can do so online.

Every cent of the money raised for the hike will remain in the Simcoe County area.

The 2007 hike raised $845,000 for palliative care.

The hike starts at the Lion’s Pavilion at Centennial Beach in Barrie and will run between 6:30 and 9 p.m.
