During March, Crime Stoppers of Simcoe-Dufferin-Muskoka received 191 calls.

These calls assisted the Police in the clearance of 5 cases including theft, possession of stolen property and other Criminal Code offences.

These investigations resulted in four arrests, 77 charges and the recovery of $76,300 worth of property.

When the Community and the Police work together, results can be obtained. Callers to Crime Stoppers never have to identify themselves and if the case proves to be successful, you are eligible for a cash reward. Crime Stoppers encourages anyone with information about a crime that has occurred to call 1-800-222-8477
