An Orillia woman was charged after she was found sleeping in the driver's seat of her car in the Wasaga Beach RecPlex parking lot last Saturday at 3:30 a.m.

"After police determined that this occupant was in no danger, it was also determined that (she was) in care and control of this motor vehicle and under the influence of alcohol," said police.

The 53-year-old woman is charged with exceeding 80 mgs.

Her first court appearance is scheduled on Apr. 29 in Collingwood.
