Eight rifles are missing after a break-in at the Department of National Defence-Army Cadet Headquarters in Collingwood.

Colllingwood OPP said the break-in at the Cadet Headquarters was reported Sunday.

Some office equipment was also stolen, the police said.

The missing rifles are:

- Anshutz Biathlon 22-calibre rifle (value $1,800)

- three Lee Enfield 22-calibre guns (value $100 each)

- four Anschutz Competition Biathlon rifles, 22 calibre (value $1,800 each)

Police are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or Collingwood/The Blue Mountains OPP at 705-445-4321.
