Not everyone wants an MBA, an SUV, or a mega-house. Some of us just want a roof over our head so we can be of a fixed address, get mail, have a phone.
Not everyone wants to be able to dine out at will, take out whenever.
Some of us just want to be able to buy bread and milk, socks and underwear, and pay our bills.
Some of us just want to earn (and be paid) an honest day's wage, for an honest day's labour and if minimum wage is the price we have to pay to avoid the prostitution of our souls and the mortgage of our lives that the big bucks demand, then so be it.
