Dear Editor: I am utterly delighted with the creative imaginations people display in decorating the landscape. On fine days, I take walks along our country roads and admire the ditches. They look brilliant.

There are paper coffee cups in perfect condition en masse plus straws, disposable food trays, including slightly used serviettes, a luxurious variety of pop cans, excellent plastic water bottles, and an endless assortment of bric-a-brac.

Naturally, one has to eat and drink in the car; it's so very convenient.

Would you kindly take your garbage home with you, or leave it where you bought it?

All food enterprises have, to my knowledge, very large trash cans.

You would do a great service to one and all, including yourselves.

Elisabeth Dachwitz,

Perkinsfield.
