LOOKING FOR something to do on a summer Sunday?

Visit the Simcoe County Museum and take a step back in time.

Included in the regular price of admission, costumed interpreters will be on site with special demonstrations every Sunday in July and August, between 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

On Sun., July 6 and Sun., Aug. 3, visitors can enjoy fresh baked goods from the museum's pioneer bread oven.

On Sun., July 13 and Sun., Aug. 10, watch vintage construction equipment in action.

On Sun., July 20 and Sun., Aug. 17, sample hand-churned, freshly made ice cream.

And, on Sun., July 27 and Sun., Aug. 24, explore daily pioneer life.

The museum is located at 1151 Highway 26 in Midhurst.

Admission is $4 for adults, $3.50 for students and seniors and $2.50 for children.
