Children's author Carrie Muller will be signing copies of her new book The Terrible Horrible Smelly Pirate at Curiosity House Books in Creemore on Sat., June 21.
The pirate story is set in the misty waters around Halifax Harbour and follows the adventures of a terrible, horrible, smelly pirate named Sydney and his friend Parrot Polly.
A tricky mermaid poses a riddle that helps these rascals find the spot where treasure has been buried on McNab Island.
What is the treasure contained in the chest?
The answer to that mystery has a hilarious twist! With suspense, surprises and silliness, Carrie Muller and co-author, Jacqueline Halsey have created a delightful book which is sure to appeal to kids of all ages.
Born in Collingwood, Carrie Muller grew up in Cape Breton and now lives in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, where she is employed at Halifax Public Libraries as a library assistant.
Carrie will be visiting Curiosity House from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The store is located at 134-A Mill St., in Creemore.
