River Road Animal Hospital is hosting a Pet Fair Sat., June 14 in celebration of its 10th anniversary.  

Staff is inviting people to bring their pets, either on a leash or in a pet carrier, for a day of games and activities from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will also be activities for children.

At various times during the day, there will be obedience demonstrations, a contest for the best dog trick, an exotic animal show, pet and owner look-a-like contest, an obstacle course, a chance for children to "be a vet" in a stuffed animal surgery demonstration, barbecue, face-painting and more.

All proceeds from nail-trimming sessions, food sales and raffles will be donated to the Collingwood and District Humane Society to help with the construction of its animal shelter. Rain date is June 21.
