The Alzheimer Society of Greater Simcoe County encourages locals to support the organization's tag day campaign.

The event is a fundraiser for the society, with money going towards dementia research and support programs. On a related note, volunteers are needed for tagging at locations in the Georgian Triangle.

Volunteers must be willing to give two or more hours of their time. The local tag days in Collingwood, Wasaga Beach and Stayner are Fri., June 27 and Sat., June 28.

In Collingwood, volunteers will be stationed at The Beer Store and Wal-Mart and in Wasaga Beach they will be based at The Beer Store, Foodland and The Real Canadian Superstore.

In Stayner, volunteers will be at The Beer Store and Foodland. For more information, or to volunteer, call Marguerite Glanfield at 722-1066.
